Tips for your visit 💡
Go up by elevator and come down on foot
Walking down through Ereta Park and the Santa Cruz neighborhood is beautiful and more comfortable than going up.
Go at sunset
The light over the bay is spectacular, especially in summer when the castle stays open late.
Bring water and a hat
It gets hot in summer, and there is little shade on the hike up.
Drop off your suitcase beforehand
The walking routes have slopes and stairs: it is better to go up light.
