The Central Market of Alicante 🏛️
It is one of the most recognizable buildings in the center: an early 20th-century construction in an eclectic style with modernist touches, inaugurated in 1922. Notable features include the grand staircase on the main facade and the dome on the corner, known as "la Rotonda." In the Plaza 25 de Mayo, next to the market, a memorial honors the victims of the bombing on May 25, 1938.
