Tips for your visit 💡
Go up by elevator and come down on foot
The walk down through Ereta Park and the Santa Cruz neighborhood is beautiful and easier than going up.
Go at sunset
The light over the bay is spectacular, especially in summer, when the castle stays open late.
Bring water and a cap
It gets hot in summer, and there is little shade on the walk up.
Leave your suitcase before you go
The walking routes have slopes and stairs: it is better to go up unencumbered.
